I know the cooler weather is coming when I see the Hawks and Eagles hanging around so much looking for food. Several times in the past week or so I have caught small Hawks sitting on the fence waiting to catch something for dinner. Just today my neighbor across the street said he saw one of the larger Hawks scoop down and capture a turtle right from the pond. I wasn’t aware that they do that. I have to be extra careful when the little ones go out so its harness time for them now.
