"White" light is actually made up of many different colors. Compare sunlight to the light from a regular (incandescent) light bulb, and then try fluorescent lighting. You will see changes? This morning as the sunlight entered my foyer it bounced off my crystal chandelier and the prisms sent reflections onto the dinning archway. My own indoor rainbow.
