Just when we thought we had the banana plants under control I spotted another pod. This is how the bananas start; as the purple layers pull away it uncovers another bunch of bananas. What amazes me is that I never seem to catch the pod until it becomes this size. One day it just appears almost out of nowhere. What I liked about this shot was that I took it in the evening and the way the sunlight casts on it and reflects its many shades.
